In the
banking industry
Customers expect critical account information without delay, security of their confidential information, and compliance with federal regulations. All of this must be achieved while operating at peak efficiency and maintaining customer retention. At PenTeleData, we have the knowledge, experience and network to make that possible.
ESSA Bank & Trust
Today, ESSA’s 200+ employees use PenTeleData services in almost everything they do. The branches utilize WAN connectivity to interconnect with each other and the corporate office. Convenience services, such as online banking, eDeposit, ACH origination, telephone banking and many other services also rely on data connections. In addition, ESSA saves on telephone bills by utilizing VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).
First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union
First Commonwealth is the largest credit union in the Lehigh Valley, with over $550 million in assets, nearly 50,000 members and six branches. They offer the same financial services found at a traditional bank, but with better rates and lower fees. That's because they’re structured differently. They are member-owned and not-for-profit. Instead of earning money for stockholders, they return profits to their member-owners (account holders) in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower rates on loans and lower fees.
Northumberland Bank
Northumberland National Bank’s rapid growth from a single branch bank in 1998 to the current six branches and an operations center meant that the bank needed a dependable and reliable Internet provider to process and transmit customers’ financial transactions. Their consultant helped them define the parameters to upgrade their existing network and telephone system, and after reviewing their choices, they chose PenTeleData.
Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank
In 1852, Rockwood, Hazard & Company purchased, from the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company, a stone building erected in 1829 on the site of the present Broadway structure of the Jim Thorpe Neighborhood Bank. This was the beginning of a private bank known as the “Savings Shoppe”.
When asked about his experience with our staff, Mr. Lordi explained, “We work closely with our Commercial Account Executive and anytime there are any concerns, they are addressed right away. In fact, there was recently a fire that affected service to our Nesquehoning branch. We were back up and running within an hour of me calling. PenTeleData knows that our communications are an integral part of our operations, and we appreciate that they’ve always got our back.”
Neffs National Bank
The Neffs National Bank is an independent community bank with a long tradition of quality customer service. The bank originally conducted its business operations using a small room between the Neffs Hotel and Kern & Moser’s General Store. It was not until 1937 that the present-day bank building was constructed, which was expanded in 1965 and again in 1995.
“The services provided by PenTeleData have been very reliable. Their Network Control Center team is always ready to assist. When calling, the representative is willing to go the extra mile to make sure our needs are met and satisfied.”
